Web Accessibility perspectives: explore the impact and benefits for everyone

This web page within the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) website contains several videos that explain how accessibility can be achieved on a computer (whether desktop, laptop, tablet or other mobile devices) for people with various kinds of disabilities.

Each video is spoken and captioned, and deals with a specific topic such as: keyboard compatibility, Colors contrast, Layout clarity and design, Text to speech conversion, Size of links or buttons or controls, Video captions, Customizable text, Voice recognition, Undestandable contents, Notifications and feedback.

These videos are mainly intended for developers and technicians; however, they use plain language rather than technical jargon, in order to be easily understood also by people who are just “competent users” of computers. These people may find the video very useful to help find accessibility solutions for their own individual case.
